For the first time, Tour for Kids ventures southwest. Start and finish each day at Brock University, ride three solid days from the same location, busing on Saturday to Camp Trillium where we all have lunch and spend time with the families we support. Visit local community locations for rest stops along the route and everyone enjoys lunch at one common location.
An unsupported but mapped out route on Thursday allows you to ride the route at your own pace.
Arrive Thursday at Brock University and mingle with friends and family at the Tour for Kids market. Meet local artisans, enjoy local beer and wine tastings, shop at some of the booths and indulge in some of the farm fresh foods.
Your event ends Sunday with a beer and food event celebrating your weekend accomplishments.
Route for Tour for Kids
Our new format and Experience will keep you entertained on and off the route. Ride the beautiful quiet sideroads of the Niagara region, surrounded by vineyards, winery estates, orchards and the undulating Niagara Escarpment. You’ll ride along the shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, through Port Colborne, Fort Erie, the Falls, Dunnville, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Port Dalhousie, Jordan. You’ll also enjoy a very special visit to Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake.
Tour for Kids is, first and foremost, a fundraising event for our very special camps. Though donations are accepted until September 30th, please make every effort to submit your funds before the ride begins. Your effort on behalf of the camps is crucial to the operation of their many essential programs. Thank you for your purposeful participation.

Bike Storage: There is limited space in the building and room for bike storage. All bikes will remain at the start/finish line overnight under the watchful eyes of security guards
Luggage: The residence is only 4 floors and elevators are at a premium. Pack light knowing you are transporting your own luggage.

THURSDAY NIGHT ACCOMMODATION
New this year, your Thursday night accommodation is included in your registration fee. Come up early, registration opens at 3pm with the beer flowing at 3:30pm. Dinner is served at 6:30pm with a potato bar, assortment of salads, pasta and a brownie station!

If your entourage would like to mingle during the apres, you can purchase dinner tickets when you register or in your fundraising hub (breakfast tickets also available.) Ticket sales close July 18 and will not be available at the door. Guests in need of overnight accommodation must make their own arrangements in town since the allotment of Tour beds has been filled by some of the finest riders and volunteers in the country.
Brock University offers one single bed, air conditioned room with desk, dresser and wardrobe. One 4-piece washroom is accessible from each of two adjoining single bedrooms
The primary route each day is a rewarding “Metric Century” distance of 100km. For those looking to test their legs further, step up to the meandering “Century” of 100 miles (160km). For riders that qualify, go for broke on the excessively long 200km “Extended” route on Friday or Saturday only. We have amazing BBQ planned for your return on Sunday, you won’t want to miss it. Whatever your ability, you’re sure to share the journey with someone traveling at your speed.
